Rachael Kim
Violinist Rachael Kim has been rising as a young soloist to watch in local and international stages, and is making her debut this season with the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, she has performed throughout USA, including at the Aspen String Showcase, LACMA Sundays Live and EMMI Recital Series, and recently won the 45th Edith Knox Young Artist Competition, as well as the Elizabeth Mandell and ASTA Competitions.
Rachel began her violin studies at age 5 and is currently a Junior at the Crossroads School of Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica under the tutelage of master violinist Alexander Treger. She also serves as a concertmaster for the EMMI orchestra and has been invited to participate in masterclasses by world renowned artists such as Gil Shaham, Midori Goto, Glen Dicterow and Dennis Kim.
