Teatro Politeama

Since 1872, on the site where Palepoli is believed to lie, the Politeama has been open to Neapolitans, boasting various genres of performances by stellar world renowned artists.

Built on what was once an orange and lemon grove, and later dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Giacosa, the Theater is composed of a stalls area, three tiers of boxes, and has a seating capacity of over 900, benefitting from a vast stage and extraordinary acoustics.

Its curtain has risen on operas, concerts, popular dramas, and touring ensembles of the most talented Italian and international artists.
