Jason Bernhard

Making his debut with the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra and first studying under Amy Bowers, Jason is a 2nd-year undergradate Trombone Performance major at UCLA, currently working with James Miller, Associate Principal Trombone of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

He has already extensively performed as soloist and chamber musician with various instrumental groups including the Claremont Young Musicians Orchestra at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Pacific Academy Foundation Orchestra and the UCLA Brass Ensemble, among others.

Along with teaching over a range of levels from elementary to entering college, his goals are to incorporate all aspects of music in his future life and endeavors.

Don’t miss this exclusive Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra mid-season performance at Los Angeles’ St. James Church, as part of its Great Music / Classical  Sundays at Six series. It will feature Tchaikovsky’s rarely heard Elegy, a musical gem by Mozart, and one of Frank Martin’s most enthralling works – all with our biggest lineup of young talent yet! This concert is free of charge and seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
