Tali Duckworth

Tali Duckworth

Born in Philadelphia and making her debut with the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra, Tali is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy and is currently studying classical trumpet performance at the University of Southern California under Jennifer Marotta and Tom Hooten, Principal Trumpet of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. 


In the summer of 2022, she competed at the International Women in Brass Conference in Dallas, Texas, performed with the Marrowstone Music Festival in Seattle, Washington, and attended the N.Y.U. Summer Brass Workshop with Manhattan Brass in New York. At home in Los Angeles, she regularly performs with various Thornton School of Music ensembles including the Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Brass Quintet, Thornton Edge, and Concert Jazz Orchestra.

 

Equally passionate about film music and soundtrack performance, Tali was a member of the pit orchestras of various Los Angeles stage productions including A Chorus Line and Into the Woods, hoping to one day perform in West Side Story and Les Miserables.
